from their slavery in Egypt and the Passover night to the

“serpent of brass” and the crossing of the Jordon River.

wanderings through the wilderness—indeed, they are

written for our profi t and learning. We too have been

redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb and

now are in the wilderness on the way to our heavenly

inheritance.
