Whose Assembly?
As seen in the first Epistle to the Corinthians

Members of the Church are really the "called out" ones whom the Lord Himself has assembled together.
All the work in building the Assembly is really done by God Himself, using servants He has called and equipped. (Psalm 127:1)

Therefore, it is only natural that the way God's Assembly functions must be a matter that He as the Builder must decide.
We accept the guidelines in a manufacturer's operation manual. In an even greater way, wise men follow the Word of God.
We don't have to make up guidelines as we go along. Nor are we left to select what parts of God's Word we want to follow. More and more, events across the religious world mystify earnest seekers of the truth.
