Open Brethren

Description

In the course of the resulting exercises enquiries have been raised, by many of our younger brethren, as to wherein the principles and practices of the Open brethren differ from those of the so-called Exclusive brethren. The following paper is an attempt to answer these enquiries.
The questions we would seek to answer are, First, What was the origin of the Open Brethren system?
Second, What are the principles and practices of the open Brethren, and wherein do they differ from the principles which the so-called Exculsive brethren believe to be scriptural?
